[GRASS-user] r.sun - what unit for a half-meter resolution grid?

Hi there,

I've been using r.sun to compute irradiation on a raster with a resolution
of 0.5 m². The output of r.sun is in WH/m², does this mean that I have to
convert the output to another unit (pixel size = 0.25 m², WH/m² output from
r.sun * 4? Or perhaps output / 4, since the output's for 1 m² but recorded
on a 0.25 m² pixel?) or should I leave the output as it is? I know it's kind
of a dumb question, but I'm pretty confused and don't want to just trust in
comparing my values with measurements and assuming that a certain conversion
factor is correct ;)

Thanks!
Daniel
