Thanks Timmy,  the answer to your kind questions are:

Did you use r.in.gdal for your import?
- I used the gui r.gdal.in

What raster format has your raster?

- the format is .adf

Is the z-value the "pixel-value" of
the raster?
- no idea. How to know that?
