I guess that you are not using default icon theme (`grass2`) for
wxGUI. This bug has been hopefully fixed one week ago. For now, change
your icon theme to 'grass2'.

$ cat ~/.grass6/wx | grep icon
appearance;iconTheme;type;grass2

or install daily build of GRASS 64 [1].
