[GRASS-user] lion osx

Hi Salvatore,

With William's help, I've been doing some test of GRASS on Lion. Here is what I've found out.

1. GRASS compiled under Snow Leopard runs find on Lion. I've not yet run into any problems, including with the TclTk aspects.
2. GRASS will compile under Lion if you force it to 32 bits, Python 2.6, and wxPython 2.8. This version will run fine on Lion.
3. GRASS 7 compiled under Lion as in #2 seems to run fine under Snow Leopard
4. GRASS 6.4.2 compiled under Lion as in #2 still wants to use Python 2.7 and the GUI won't launch. However, if you force it to start up in 32 bits, it will run fine.
