[GRASS-user] Not able to open the dataset

I downloaded the
"nclidar-utm.tar.gz<http://skagit.meas.ncsu.edu/~helena/grasswork/grassbookdat/nclidar-utm.tar.gz>"
dataset
from the Grass website and extracted its contents to my home folder. But
while opening the Grass application i am not able to open that dataset.
Please help.
