[GRASS-user] reading AVHRR NDVI composites

Hi:

I am trying to read the AVHRR 14 day NDVI composites downloaded from Earth Explorer. Each composite contains a .img and a .ddr file and gdal doesn't recognize it. I guess this is more of a gdal related question, but hopefully someone in the list has already done it.
