[GRASS-user] OSM import with gdal - which version ?

the latest stable release of gdal/ogr is 1.9.2 from October 2012.

But according to http://www.gdal.org/ogr/drv_osm.html, gdal/ogr must be >= 2.0.0 for this to work.

v2.0.0 is not available from the gdal/ogr site.

-> Can anyone confirm that this works (already) with v1.9.2 ?
