[GRASS-user] use of grass 6.4 and 7 on the same location/mapsets

I found that once I'd converted my vectors to Grass 7, I couldn't go back. I ended up going back to 6.4 and having to restore old vectors from a backup. It was a pain. Is there an easy way to convert back?
