[GRASS-user] Recommended GRASS GIS version/installer for Windows?

Dear list,

which version/installer would you recommend for a GRASS GIS (newcommer) under 
Windows?

Someone is facing a show-stopper -- in his words:

" When I try to install new addons (for instance the denoise one) simply by
