Hi all,

I'm using GRASS 7svn on WIndows, and am wondering about the export to R
feature.
The GUI gives the impression i can export from a GRASS raster to an 'R Data
Object Store'. supported formats for r.out.gdal include R

When i try it, it gives an error after seeming to process it, and generates
a large file. However i cant open it, and dont know how to bring it into R.
Is it supposed to be an R SpatialGrid object?

*Driver <R> does not support direct writing. Using MEM driver for
intermediate dataset.*
*Checking GDAL data type and nodata value...*
*Input raster map contains cells with NULL-value (no-data). The value nan
will be used to represent no-data values in the input map. You can specify
a nodata value with the nodata option.*
*Exporting raster data to R format...*
*ERROR 4: `ndvi2.R' not recognised as a supported file*
*format.*
*ERROR: Unable to create raster map <ndvi2.R> using driver <R>*
*(Thu Aug 28 16:14:19 2014) Command finished (9 sec) *

Thanks for any input,
Vishal
