This is probably better than a -r flag for the raster import. The
issue is that if the resolution of the current region does not match
that of the raster map or layer to be imported, resampling is needed.
But which? It depends on the input data (for available methods in
GRASS, see the 'Interpolation' page in the Wiki).
Hence, reflecting about it again, such a convenient flag is not easily
integrated...
