[GRASS-user] using v.edit to split a line feature

Hi, guys, I want to follow the answer in this post splitting a lines layer
using points

to
split a line by nearby points, all I want to ask is can v.edit split a line
just using the coordinates of nearby points, and without ids of this line
as input？
