I only had one map 149683_JJ open, so I don’t think that’s the problem.

Can we see your region settings, and the elevation raster info?

Could you check that you are profiling the correct raster map? It's not visible from the pictures. In the profile tool, click on one of the first buttons on the toolbar, to set the correct map.
