[GRASS-user] i.atcorr meaningful output

Hey everybody, 

is there anyone familiar with i.atorr? 

I'm totally new to GRASS GIS and I wonder why the default output
rescale-value is set to 0-255. 

Why is it necessary/mandatory to rescale the result at all? In my
understanding the obtained reflectance values should be between 0-1 or
0-100 or similar. 

So is there any way to avoid the rescaling of the result-values or how
do i get useful results?
