[GRASS-user] converting from GRASS 6 to 7

I have a simple GRASS db created in GRASS 6. I have installed GRASS 7.
Initially I attempted to open this via QGIS and each vector map has a red X
indicating it has a GRASS 6 data structure. 

 

I've read the wiki page for converting all GRASS 6 vector maps to GRASS 7

However, GRASS won't open this mapset so that I can run v.build.all. 

 

I'm not sure how I can convert it if GRASS 7 won't open it.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
