   Yes, this works when you have existing map files. What I have is this:

2013-11-15	0.10
2013-11-16	0.32
2013-11-17	0.10
  ...
2013-12-08	0.23

   No maps; a list of dates and average precipitation rate in mm/hr.

   Do I create a set of maps, one per day, from the DEM for the area?
