   Be that as it may, it does not work here with
GRASS version: 7.3.svn 
GRASS SVN revision: r70793 
Build date: 2017-03-24 
Build platform: i686-pc-linux-gnu 
Platform:
Linux-3.10.104-smp-i686-AMD_Athlon-tm-_II_X2_255_Processor-with-slackware-14.1
