[GRASS-user] error on importing shapefile

I get the error below on running v.buffer.distance via the grass qgis
plugin.


DBMI-SQLite driver error:

Error in sqlite3_prepare():

near ",": syntax error


I also get a similar error when importing the shapefile via grass

I am running ubuntu 17.10, grass 7.2.1, qgis 2.18.14
