Have you followed the tutorial available in this link prepared by Yann:

Also attached the pdf with this email.

It gives you an overall picture on how to use ET modules in GRASS GIS to
estimate actual ET.

Please give it a try and ask questions you may have.

There is an external Python script using GRASS lib, applying SEBAL on
Landsat data (never tried !!)
