[GRASS-user] Total length of river network

I've looked at all the v.net* modules on the core and addon manual pages,
and the v.stream* modules on the addon page without seeing a module that
sums the lengths of each segment of a river system.

The map's database has 282 rows; one for each segment (I assume).

A pointer to a process to sum distances for the river system will be much
appreciated.
