[GRASS-user] Problem using r.in.xyz (nodata)

I solved the problem changing the region extyension with the following
rule:

g.region n=n+0.5 s=s+0.5 w=w+0.5 e=e+0.5

where 0.5 is half the resolution. But I do not understand why the command
create the nodata within the dem without extending region.
