Dear Grass usrers,

I would like to ask if someone can clarify me the following question w.r.t.
DMSP nightlight data and specially VIIRS/DNB nighttime light data: I have
found in some sources in the internet, (i.e Google Earth Engine) saying the
pixels' spatial resolution for VIIRS/DNB nighttime light data is of 15 Arc
Seconds while for DMSP is 30 Arc Seconds, is this correct; while in some
other places several parers and mainly websites, it appears that VIIRS/DNB
nighttime light data it naturally a pixels' spatial resolution of 750 m or
~ 500 while DMSP pixels' size is of about 1km x 1km?

If, the Arc Seconds measure of 30 for DSMP nightlight data and 15 for VIIRS/DNB
nighttime light data is correct, how should I define this magnitude in
meters?

Is it correct to say that DMSP data pixels' spatial resolution size is
about 1 km x 1 km while VIIRS/DNB night light data has a pixel size of 500
x 500 m, or it should be said that VIIRS/DNB nighttime light data is 750 x
750 m?

Thanks a lot for your response.
Berst regards,
