[GRASS-user] problem installing GRASS

I get the following error when installing from the WinGrass 7.8.1
executable (standalone installer) from the GRASS website.
"WinGRASS-7.8.2-1-Setup-x86_64.exe"

After downloading, it installs (but without the example datasets which it
cannot find), gives no errors. but when i try to open GRASS i get:

"The program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is
missing from your computer.."

Can someone help me install it?
