[GRASS-user] Migration to OSGeo Discourse

Dear GRASS users,

We will soon start the migration from grass-user mailing list to OSGeo
Discourse forum (as decided at a GRASS PSC meeting [1]), which offers many
advantages, including easier to search archives, modern-looking interface
and better topic organization. Some of you know we have already
successfully migrated the grass-dev list [2]. The history of the grass-user
list will be ported to discourse and preserved. Once we start using
discourse, you have the option of using the web interface to interact with
this list or still using email for correspondence, with the only difference
being sending to the new email address if you want to start a new topic, or
replying to a topic email (grass-user at discourse.osgeo.org).

To be able to use OSGeo Discourse, you will need to register [3]. You don't
have to wait for the migration to start, you can do it now. I will send
more info once the migration is done.
