Yes, I have produced A3 maps from GRASS in Postscript and printed them on 
the HPXL300. However, the HP version of Postscript does not seem to be 
able to print A3 maps unless the obscure "PageSize" command is 
introduced. I have a script that does that, so if you want it, let me 
know.
