wondering what syntax the program expects for this to work. I'm using the GUI
version of v.db.addcol in WinGrass 6.1 cvs-5, the Sept. 5th binary from

program asks for the name and type for the new column to be added to the
database, but I can't seem to stumble on the correct syntax for
