More seriously, you might want to check out the GRASS web site at <a href="http://grass.itc.it"><http://grass.itc.it></a> and find out why a lot of people prefer it to ArcGIS. It would be a shame to waste the effort of joining a very active list and getting your mailbox filled with all the messages without knowing what it’s all about.<BR>

I joined this list only to find out what I can do with our GRASS materials. If someone would like to have it or if it is worthless and I can put it in the dumpster. We got into GRASS in 1990, never did anything with it, never will. <BR>

</FONT><FONT FACE="Arial">We have GRASS 4.0 on floppy disk (including Spearfish, Global, and Imagery sample database on 3 1/2 in floppy), and lots of manuals, tutorials, newsletters, etc. The GRASS stuff fits in one banker box.<BR>
