It is possible to create a 3d geological modell from geological map using GRASS but it is laborious work.<BR>
to create a modell i attached, i used DEM, geological map and information about unit thickness.<BR>

I use GRASS to creating geological maps (only digital versions), if i want to make hard copy i export .shp<BR>
and open Esri ArcMap...<BR>
