i did it one more time and everything is ok,<BR>
i think the problem was that i used "map fills display window" before d.rast.num.<BR>
How to set a current region (g.region) resolution in Map Display window.<BR>

Are you perhaps confusing the number of cells in the display with the number<BR>
of cells in the "computational" region (set with g.region or set WIND to<BR>
match display in map display menu)?<BR>
