on some pages of the Baylor sites *very* old code is distributed.
Note that you will reach the very old stuff when entering
through:
  http://www3.baylor.edu/grass/index2.html

while you get somewhat more updated code from
  http://www3.baylor.edu/grass/index.html

In summary, you better download from
  http://grass.itc.it
or a mirror site.

MaxOSX:
  http://grass.itc.it/grass5/binary/mac_os_x/

It were a great help if Baylor would remove
  http://www3.baylor.edu/grass/index2.html
to avoid such problems.
