Regarding the link on the page http://grass.itc.it/capabilities.html, 
near the bottom, where it says:

   Geostatistics* Interface to "R" (GNU S-Plus) 
<http://grass.itc.it/statsgrass/index.html>

I think it would be better to say "R" (GNU S)". S-Plus is a commercial 
product that implements the "S" language; R is the open-source version 
of the "S" language. It is not appropriate to refer to R as the free 
version of a non-free product.
