[GRASS-web] Using GRASS to Analyze Construction Site Aerial Images

Folks

 

I'm searching for software to analyze a color aerial photo of a construction
site (like the attached) and determine the percent of the site which is
covered with vegetation or straw mulch and how much is exposed soil.

 

I understand GRASS can do this.

 

If this is correct is there documentation that describes how to do this
analysis with GRASS?
