[winGRASS] Status of GRASS on win32?

Hello all,

I'm just wondering what the status of a non-cygwin GRASS on windows is? 
  I've heard rumours of it possibly in the works, but after i googled i 
found that the developer (Javier Yebrin i think) is currently busy and 
the project is on hold.  Is that true?
