[winGRASS] Weirdness with include dir for cvs releases (aug 05 and feb 06)

I now have two /usr/local directories with similar but not exactly the same
names:

grass-6.1.cvs (older)
grass6.1.cvs (newer)

I'm trying to compile a grass add-on, and its looking for the gis.h folder
which occurs in DIFFERENT subdirectories in each of these:

grass-6.1.cvs/include/gis.h (older version)
grass6.1.cvs/include/grass/gis.h (newer version)

Is there a reason this is like this now?  This is playing havoc with my
compiles...
