[winGRASS] Real problem with latest install

Group,

I did a cvs update for 6.0.2 and tried to do configure

I get the following message:

checking for location of External PROJ.4 library...

checking for pj_get_def in -lproj... no
configure: error: *** Unable to locate External PROJ.4 library.

I have installed prog-4.4.9 and it runs so I don't understand what's 
going here.  Can anyone help on this?
