Colin,
students here are testing the new installer and everything seems to
be working fine except for nviz.
I am wondering whether the nviz version with tcltk gui is linked to
3D view instead of wxnviz?
This is on VISTA and it may be problem with local installation or
wrong region
(we will check that), but GRASS63 from Marco's installer
runs on this computer fine, including nviz.
I am wondering whether nviz runs for others.
Here is the report about the problem:
"I tried to display one elevation map. Upon clicking 3D view, a
window pops up that says "Please
wait, loading data..." It never gets past this point. This action also
prevents closing GRASS. I have to close it through the Windows Task
Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del). It closes with the normal method if I don't try
to bring up nviz. "
thanks a lot,
Helena
