[Gvsig_br] gvsig no ubuntu 11.01 não carrega imagens

Olá camaradas,

continuo neófito em Linux - ubuntu, entretanto, consegui fazer a instalação do gvsig 1.11 neste S.O.. Porém, não consigo carregar imagens de satélites. Alguém pode me ajudar a entender porque e buscar a solução?
