-ho scritto male io. avevi scritto correttamente ed io avevo capito bene.
proprio per questo dicevo che non funzionava...
String filexml = changeCodeXML("C:\\prova.xml");
XMLEntity xml_e = XMLEntity.parse(filexml); //mi da errore qui
lyr.setXMLEntity(xml_e);

-capisco a cosa dovrebbe servire IProjection nuova_proj =
CrsFactory.getCRS("EPSG:3004"); 
crea un nuovo oggetto IProjection, questo è chiaro. ma che metodo è
CrsFactory.getCRS()?a che serve il parametro passato? a me da errore.
"CrsFactory can't be resolved".

Spero di non essere troppo seccante.
