Dear All,

I am pleased to inform that "Opening Science to Meet Future Challenges" conference https://conference2014.ceon.pl earlier this week was a great success . It was also an excellent opportunity to meet and share ideas with some key colleagues, thinkers and policy makers of Open Access initiative and plan ideas for the future. I am really happy to see the amazing progress and developments in Open Access (governments and funders policy had also been key in the acceleration) and i have shared our experiences in building Open Geospatial Science and i am pleased to inform that we will be organising "Building up Open Access, Open Education and Open Data for Open Science" on 2nd Sep 2014 in parallel to OSGIS 2014 at the University of Nottingham for bringing together colleagues from Open Access , Open Data and Open Education for building synergies and collaboration opportunities with the "Geo for All" initiative. More details of this will be announced soon.

This year's OSGIS chairs will be Jeremy Morley (University of Nottingham, UK) and Ian Edwards (Met Office, UK and OSGeo UK Chair) and we will be sending the CFP next week and we are looking forward to strong participation from you all.

Best wishes,

Suchith
