Dear Colleagues,

I would like to thank the organisers of 10th Conference on Cartography and Geoinformation in Zagreb for the opportunity to present "Geo for All" last week. I would like to specifically thank all our colleagues at the University of Zagreb, Croatia for the wonderful hospitality and kindness they provided me during my visit . It was a pleasure to meet all of them and discuss ideas. I was especially impressed by their brilliant students who i also had an opportunity to talk to in the seminar they organised yesterday on the Role of Geodesy and Geinformatics in Sustainable development. It is great to see students leading excellent ideas and i am sure these students will act as the key force for not only for expanding the Open Source Geospatial Lab http://www.geof.unizg.hr/mod/book/view.php?id=1165&chapterid=110&lang=en at University of Zagreb but expanding this globally.

I will be in Vienna from tomorrow to Friday for GEOTHNK http://www.geothink-project.eu/index.php/en/ meetings, if any of you are there please let me know and it will be good to meet to discuss ideas.

Best wishes,

Suchith

PS: As i informed you all earlier this year, i had decided to move from University of Nottingham after finishing all my current commitments. This is important for our future global expansion plans. Good news is that I will be joining one of our own labs ( i will inform details later) and it will be great opportunity to expand and implement new ideas for expanding Open Geospatial Science globally. Will keep you all updated. Thanks for your support.
