Rania, yes thank you, already done!

Dear OSGEO 'Open Source' Aficionados,
(Aficionados is the same in Spanish and Italian : ),
I took a crack at getting at least one simple GeoForAll url to guide us to the rest.
I haven't learned my way around webpage editing yet, so the layout is subpar.
Please feel free to make this look more professional. And of course, add accordingly.
Life for Homo sapiens, the original source, began in Africa, not too long ago,
then on into Asia and Europe, with only cosmetic revisions to the original source code.
So, Africa should be the lead off! And it even works well alphabetically! ; -)

Thanks Patrick and you are right we need to update this and then link it also to the main Geo for All website.
Thankfully we got three volunteers already for the website updating (Ela, Pawel and Darshana) and more are welcome, just let me know.
So i will request them to register at the OSGeo wiki site and start updating the wikipage bringing all different urls to the same page.
Suchith

Alright, we have the OSGEO GeoForAll wiki, http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/GeoForAll,
but there seems no reference point for all the associated activities, whether it's the thematic groups by country or the other related activities such as awards for GIS Student and GIS Teacher/Course.
I will suggest also that any page which is translated has a link to the other translations (as well as a link to the GeoForAll 'home' page where all the GeoForAll links are listed).
I also suggest we have a 'GeoForAll/News' page where current events, upcoming conferences, meetings, awards, etcetera are listed with their url.

Colleagues,
Following Sergio's excellent suggestion and inputs from the community ,we now have "Geo for All" Region wise and Subject Thematic groups formally established. The webpages of all the 5 regional groups and subject wise thematic groups ready.
With the region wise thematic groups established, the chairs of this are now the contact points for any new labs to be established in that region to contact and the mailing list becomes the first point of contact for the new members and all regional members in the region can use the list for collaborating on regional funding calls, FOSS4G local conferences etc. They will also be the administrators of the mailing lists and they will use the wikipages to develop their ideas with inputs from all members in their groups. This way we can make sure it is scaleable and meets local/region requirements/needs. All ideas welcome.
