[Ica-osgeo-labs] [OpenGeoscience] short course EGU 2016

Dear All,

I have drafted here [1] some of the ideas that we have so far for the
course, since the discussion could potentially continue on separate mailing
lists it's better to keep all info at one place. Please update it with your
ideas.
@ Barend Köbben: thank you very much for your offer. Just one thought to
whoever is considering to give the course: so far AFAIK no refund is
foreseen for whom is giving the course, Vienna is fairly expensive and so
is EGU. It makes sense if the person who gives the course has a plan to
attend EGU anyway. If this is your case, welcome on-board and please do
subscribe the open geoscience mailing list at [2] in order to proceed
further in the organization.
@ Lene Fischer: thank you for your offer. The topic is interesting of
course, is there any chance to integrate a short extract of it in a more
general presentation on OSGeo-Live? In any case, I'd extend the invitation
to subscribe the mailing list at [2].
