Hi Till,

Thank you for this update. This is excellent idea to have an EARSEL (Remote-Sensing) track on FOSS4G and they also have FOSS-tracks in their conference.

Klaus - i can see great synergies for the Education and Training collaborations and i hope we can use this opportunity to build more ideas for future collaborations. Please do join our maillist and https://lists.osgeo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/ica-osgeo-labs and contribute your ideas/inputs. Thanks.

Best wishes,

Suchith

Hi,

regarding Jachyms email, I can tell you, that next year in June there
will be the EARSEL conference taking place in bonn as well. I am in
contact with the chair of this conference. Our first plannings were, to
link our FOSS4G and their conference into the same building and week,
but that did not work because of traditional time-windows both
conferences have. But we agreed to have an EARSEL (Remote-Sensing) track
on FOSS4G and they will have a FOSS-track in their conference.

I "CC"d Klaus greve, who is the chair of this EARSEL conference for
further plannings in that direciton ;-)

Regards, Till
