 NSF Workshop on Geospatial Data Science in the Era of Big Data and CyberGIS
July 25 - 26, 2016
and
Third International Conference on CyberGIS and Geospatial Data Science
July 26 - 28, 2016
at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), Urbana, Illinois, USA

The week will begin with a NSF-funded Workshop on Geospatial Data Science on Monday and Tuesday. This workshop aims to discuss innovative big data capabilities for novel geospatial applications, demonstrate advanced cyberinfrastructure and cutting-edge computing tools for scalable cyberGIS analytics and geospatial discovery, identify requirements for spatial data synthesis from representative science drivers, and formulate a set of core questions and problems in geospatial data science toward a community-driven research roadmap.
Then, join us for the Third International Conference on CyberGIS and Geospatial Data Science (CyberGIS’16) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
