Hi all,

There does not seem to be an authoritative list of project contacts; I figured this list would be my best bet.

In an effort to find a compromise between having all projects hosted within the OSGeo web space and having widely divergent looks and feels between the projects, we have developed some "info sheet" web pages based on the OSGeo flyers handed out at recent conferences.  Links to these pages are provided at the end of this message.

This will give us a consistent look and feel within the top two navigation levels of the OSGeo site, without constraining member projects from using the collaboration tools that they prefer.  My personal hope would be that this could help open the way to delegating the projectname.osgeo.org subdomains to the various existing project infrastructures.

These pages are a starting point.  If you have changes or additions that you would like to make in the content, please send me a static html page with your revisions.  Please keep in mind that layout options are fairly constrained on the current site, so save the complete page and style sheets locally, and only make changes within the content section.

We desperately need to get more content on the www.osgeo.org site and these pages are a critical first step, so please review this at your earliest convenience.  I will do my best to modify the content to match any changes you request in a timely manner. 

If you do not have any issues with the current content (I am of course happy to make changes in the future) you do not have to do anything.  I will likely start integrating these pages into the main site along with any requested changes this coming Saturday evening (three days from now).
