[Incubator] Search for incubation mentor

Hello everyone,

with this email I would like to request an incubation mentor for the 
Geomajas framework. I know OSGeo works on voluntary basis, and so unless 
someone feels excited we may have to wait a while. This is why I am 
writing this mail, as Frank Warmerdam suggested on IRC, in the hope to 
get one of you excited enough to be the official incubation mentor :-)

The Geomajas framework is a client-server based web application 
framework, that's currently undergoing huge changes, due to the 
implementation of the GWT as a new (read extra) front-end. The back-end 
is based upon technologies such as GeoTools and Hibernate Spatial (which 
was written for the Geomajas project, but is now a separate project), 
creating an end-to-end Java stack to write your applications in.

Work on the codebase as well as work on the OSGeo goals for incubation 
are progressing fast. We have included automatic docbook generation in 
the daily build, and have over 60 pages of documentation for our future 
release already. We have just installed the first official Project 
Steering Committee (where we are still looking for someone from outside 
the community to sit on it for objectivity), and we are organising a 
code sprint next week, where people from 4 different companies are 
attending.

The project is alive and kicking, and hopes that one of you may feel the 
instinctive need to investigate and stick around :-)
