[Incubator] Joining OSGeo as a community project

I have only had a brief look at your project, in part because of the naming
confusion between website and framework. Personally I am still a but stuck
on that and was hoping for more discussion from the members present.

If I refer back to our website (

meet the requirements to be listed on the website .. so perhaps we can
start there?

There is a strong mapping component to your project :)

- this is a document license not an open source license, it would cover
content rather than source code

- shows a steady stream of contributions, cannot tell if they are from
multiple organizations but the process is in place

If I go by the two repositories you provided I am missing the "license
approved by osi"  check, but that is is exactly the kind of thing we are
here to work on.

I also note on your wiki page

are seeking $7500 USD to scale the project internationally. Once we figure
out how to support you as an open source project you may wish to contact
the osgeo board to see if we can help, although perhaps you have
fundraising efforts already in place.
