Dear Jody,

Thanks, I will give it a good go tomorrow.

Kind regards, Alex

p.s. This email is testing if the mailing list fix for https://trac.osgeo.org/osgeo/ticket/2087 worked.

Thanks, you have "editor" (for events, resources, etc...) and "project author" (for your new page). Please give it a go!

Alex / Landon:

I had a look and did not see any user with your alexhighviz at hotmail.com<mailto:alexhighviz at hotmail.com> email addressed on the website.

Alex can you login to the website using your OSGeo user id, and then let us know the userid so we can give you "Project Author" permission to make a new "Project" post. Once logged in the dashboard has a list of content you are able to work with on the right hand side.

Landon you have "Project Editor" permission and can grant Alex the "Project Author" role when he has logged into the website. And then publish the project page when it is ready.

Alex if we can ask you to:

* Make use of the https://github.com/OSGeo/osgeo/tree/master/incubation/community branding on on your website (and upcoming presentation).
* Create a project page at http://osgeo.org/projects/

I'd like to make a motion that we accept Blink Raster (

The requirements<https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/OSGeo_Community_Projects#Joining_OSGeo> as per previous portable gis motion:
1. Selection of an open source license if the project hasn't already done so.
2. Checking your source code headers and history
3. Setup appropriate LICENSE, CONTRIBUTING and README files (for github projects)
The following additional criteria are available for your consideration only:

  * confirmation that project does not require data or service license to function
