[Incubator] Suggestion that MapCentia GC2/Vidi should be an OSGeo Community Project

Hi Martin,

I agree that your project sounds like a good candidate for an OSGeo
Community Project and is a great first step.

I suggest that you also look at the more comprehensive checklist for
graduated OSGeo projects, follow the download from:
https://www.osgeo.org/resources/project-graduation-checklist/

Following this project graduation checklist will help you create a more
sustainable Open Source project, based on best practices. And the
earlier you start thinking about it, the easier it is to implement.

I suggest that it will likely be valuable to slowly start building
answers to the graduation checklist in a wiki page or similar, as a
measure for yourself with regards to progress. It will also help you in
the future if you decide to commit to OSGeo Incubation.

Warm regards, Cameron
