+ About the banner photo on:  https://www.osgeo.org/projects/rasdaman/. Unfortunately, I don't have an image which fits the requested size 3800 x 960 pixels from WordPress, hence, I had to align the real image on a big white layout for the purpose.

+ About the story at the bottom, I updated with some other useful information about rasdaman project.

- Your banner photo, has a lot of white space which is making the resizing funny. Do you have a larger graphic, or will the website let you use a crop of that graphic?
- I have not seen the footer area used to tell a story before, usually it is just a note about any trademarks
- The story (history of the project) is more about rasdaman, and less about what rasdaman can do for the website visitors. If from a marketing standpoint you feel this story helps establish the projects credibility and capabilities then it is worthwhile.
